Guest play and local saves
Guest nickname, settings, equipment, records and the active round are saved in browser storage or native device preferences. Guest play does not require an account. Signing in enables cloud backup and personal scorecards.
Account and cloud data
GolfMio authenticates accounts through its NextAuth server on Cloudflare. Email, password hashes, account ID, profile, settings, equipment, achievements, active rounds and scorecards are stored in our Supabase PostgreSQL database. Resend delivers verification codes to your email. Google sign-in shares your basic profile and email with GolfMio. We do not request access to Gmail, Drive or contacts. This project stores cloud data in the United States. Feedback is uploaded only when you press Send feedback.
Account deletion
Open Settings → Manage account → Delete account. Enter the six-digit verification code sent to your account email to permanently remove the account, cloud progress, inventory, achievements, scorecards and feedback. Guest saves remain separate. Signing out leaves an account-specific offline copy on that device. Clear site/app data on other devices to remove their local copies. Operational logs and provider backups follow the provider’s retention policy.
Optional local diagnostics
Recent play events help explain problems: starts, shots, completions, exits and frame rate. Up to 600 events stay on this device. No nickname or payment details are included. Nothing is uploaded automatically. Disable, clear or export diagnostics in Settings.
Sharing and backups
Sharing sends only the scorecard or challenge you choose through your device’s sharing service. A backup contains your guest profile and saved round. Keep it private. Clear site data or remove app data to delete the local save; first export a backup if you want to keep it.
Hosting and future services
Your web host may receive ordinary connection logs when serving the site. This build contains no advertising or payment SDK. Real-money payments and remote analytics are not enabled.
